Project Description
This project is for the replacement of the existing structure which carries SR 0522 over White Oak Run in Fulton County. The existing Reinforced Concrete Arch will be replaced with a 16’-0” x 10’-0” Precast R.C. Box Culvert. The work is for the replacement of the existing structure and includes roadway work, guide rail upgrades, intersection improvements at the intersection of SR 0522 & Bethel Church Road, E&S measures and other miscellaneous construction. Also, the removal of an additional upstream structure. The roadway closure and detour were only implemented for a period of seven days and this accelerated project was completed within that timeframe by the Merlo team.
